You can easily find podcasts, episodes, creators, or even other users in Podchaser with our search tool.

Finding the content you're looking for

  1. Go to the search bar at the top of any page on Podchaser and click the dropdown listed as "Everything." You'll see a dropdown menu populate, and from there, you can narrow down your search query by podcasts, episodes, creators, lists, users, or tags.

  2. Type in the title of what it is you're looking for; if the podcast does not automatically populate in the dropdown bar, click on the "View All Results" option at the top. You can also check for exact matches after the fact only by clicking "Try an exact match" at the top of the full list of results, or by adding quotations around the original query (ie. "Never a Mannequin" vs. Never a Mannequin).

  3. You can sort the results by clicking on the dropdown that says "Relevancy;" you can then sort them by Best (highest rated), Trending (popularity), and New (recent releases).

  4. You can also filter your results by selecting the "Filter Results" option, which is located in the left side of the page.

  5. You can select any filters that apply to the current query's results to further narrow down your search by clicking the checkboxes next to the filters you'd like to apply. Under "Date Aired," you can establish a date range for the release date of the episode you're looking for. You can check the box marked as "Current" to set the ending date of that range to the present. Then hit "Apply Filters".

  6. The filters applied to the search can be seen on the left side of the page. You can remove any applied filters by clicking the "Clear Filters" option listed below the filter function.

Saving a Search

  1. To keep up-to-date with this query, you can also save your search by selecting the Save Current Search option on the menu on the right side of the results.

  2. Enter a title for the saved search and click "Submit."

  3. Now, you'll be able to access this search at any time in your "My Searches" collection.
